About Ted

Ted Laan serves as Counsel to KMB Law and belongs to the firm's Commercial Litigation and Family Law groups. He studied philosophy at McGill University before earning his law degree from Osgoode Hall in 1977, and he was called to the Ontario Bar in 1979. Ted's practice spans commercial litigation and family law, and he has handled matters at every level of the Ontario court system, including trials, appeals, negotiations, and arbitrations. He often works with clients whose relationships have broken down, drawing on decades of experience to help resolve disputes and reach workable outcomes. Ted has been listed in Best Lawyers in Canada since 2022.
