About Miruna

Miruna Mureseanu is an associate at Hicks Adams focusing on criminal defence in Toronto. She advocates for clients from the initial bail stage through to final resolution, handling a wide range of cases with close attention to detail. She completed her articles at the firm, building practical skills she still applies today. Before law school she earned an Honours Bachelor of Science at McMaster University, majoring in Life Sciences and minoring in Psychology, where courses like Forensic and Abnormal Psychology sparked her interest in the connection between law and mental health. She holds an LLB from the University of Kent and an LLM from the University of Toronto's GPLLM program, and co-authored a report for the International Human Rights Program at U of T. She belongs to the Law Society of Ontario and the Criminal Lawyers' Association.
