About Samantha

Samantha Urano is an associate at RDM Lawyers focused on wills and estate planning, including Indigenous wills, and corporate/commercial matters. She grew up in Langley, earned a Bachelor of Arts in communications from Brigham Young University in Provo, and completed her Juris Doctor at the University of British Columbia in 2015 with a specialization in Aboriginal law. During law school she volunteered with UBC's Indigenous Community Legal Clinic and the Indigenous Law Students' Association. She was called to the BC bar in 2016, began her career practising family and child protection law in Abbotsford, later moved to a solicitor practice in the Interior focused on wills and estates, and rejoined RDM in the Fraser Valley in January 2024. Urano is Métis with roots in the Red River Valley in Manitoba and assists clients in English and French.
