About Urvil

Thakor practises commercial litigation, insurance and tort liability, professional liability, and wills, trusts, estates and estate litigation, representing individual and commercial litigants at all levels of Alberta court. Thakor has represented health care workers in professional negligence matters and complex estate litigants in international asset distribution disputes, and was lead counsel in Neufeld v Neufeld (2019 ABCA 33). Thakor serves as president of the Stride Art Gallery and on the board of the Sled Island Music Festival. Thakor was called to the Alberta Bar in 2014.
