About Dylan
Dylan Snowdon is a partner at Carbert Waite LLP, which he joined in 2016 after practising with a major national firm, becoming a partner in 2019. An experienced advocate, mediator and arbitrator, he advises employers and employees on contracts, workplace policies, terminations and privacy matters, and oversees workplace investigations involving harassment, assault, fraud and discrimination. He was appointed to the Alberta Human Rights Commission as a Tribunal Member in 2025 and to the Employment Insurance Board of Appeal in January 2026, and previously served as Vice-Chair of the City of Calgary Licence and Community Standards Appeal Board from 2010 to 2022. He was appointed to the Faculty of Law at the University of Calgary in 2022, where he teaches employment law. He earned his LLB from the University of Alberta in 2009, a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the Alberta College of Art and Design in 2004, and a Certificate in Pension Law from Osgoode Hall Law School in 2015, and was called to the Alberta bar in 2010.
