Duncan Boswell is a partner and co-department head of the Toronto Advocacy Department at Gowling WLG, with a 30-year practice in civil and commercial litigation. A former engineer, he has conducted trials, arbitrations, and appeals at all court levels, including the Supreme Court of Canada and Courts of Appeal, in matters involving contracts, shareholder disputes, product liability, banking, mining, environmental law, and bankruptcy. He is a former law clerk to Supreme Court Justice Peter deC. Cory and has taught civil litigation at the Bar Admission course.
