About Julie

Julie Buoy completed a Bachelor of Arts with Distinction at the University of Lethbridge, majoring in English Language and Literature, before earning her law degree at the University of Alberta in 2020. During law school she volunteered with Student Legal Services, assisting low-income individuals in the Edmonton area. Julie joined Chivers Carpenter as an articling student in 2020 and became an associate in 2021, practising labour, employment and human rights law, with involvement in labour arbitrations, mediations, Labour Relations Board hearings and civil litigation in the employment context.
