About Richard

Richard J. Chang completed his Juris Doctor at the University of Victoria and was called to the Law Society of British Columbia in 2006. He practised at a Vancouver insurance defence firm early in his career before devoting his practice exclusively to personal injury law, joining Diamond & Diamond's Vancouver office in 2017 and now heading it. He has represented clients with traumatic brain injury, quadriplegia, paraplegia, orthopaedic injuries, chronic pain, and other trauma-related conditions, and has appeared at trial in the B.C. Supreme Court and Court of Appeal, including judgments exceeding the defendant's settlement offer by two to three times. He practises as Richard J. Chang Law Corporation.
