Emily Debono is a Senior Associate at Torys. Her work centers on corporate law and securities law, with a focus on M&A work, corporate governance, and matters involving family enterprises. She has worked on numerous M&A deals along with private placements, and she has experience with public offerings of both equity and debt, including IPOs. She regularly counsels public companies, along with other organizations, on disclosure duties, corporate governance, and additional obligations tied to corporate and securities law. Emily is also active in the firm's programs for mentoring, training, and recruiting students and associates.
