About Dominique

Dominique Amit joined Burchell MacDougall in 2024 after being called to the Nova Scotia bar. She earned her Juris Doctor from Queen's University in 2023, where she worked as a caseworker with Queen's Legal Aid, and holds a Bachelor of Journalism with Combined Honours in Political Science from the University of King's College. Based in Stellarton, her practice focuses on corporate commercial matters, wills and estates, and residential real estate. She is a member of the Pictou County Barristers Society and the Canadian Bar Association, and sits on the boards of the Nova Scotia Choral Federation and Highland Community Residential Services.
