About Denise

Denise Deschênes is an associate lawyer at Nelligan Law advising on workplace disputes such as human rights complaints, unjust dismissal, employment contract negotiations, and workplace investigations. She is fluently bilingual and has appeared before the Ontario Human Rights Tribunal and the Ontario Small Claims Court. Deschênes studied social work at Western University and worked with the Children's Aid Society before earning her law degree at the University of Ottawa and being called to the bar in 2019. She received the "Ones to Watch" designation in the 2025 edition of Best Lawyers.
