About Deborah

Deborah Yetman is a corporate and commercial lawyer with experience in mergers and acquisitions, commercial contracts, corporate governance, and corporate finance. Her practice is primarily transactional, and she takes a structured approach from initial negotiations through to closing. She regularly advises corporations on restructuring and governance matters, and acts for purchasers and vendors on commercial acquisitions, real property transactions, and financings. Yetman also supports mining matters including financings, sales and purchases, and title opinions. She holds a BA in Sociology and Psychology from Memorial University (2017) and a Masters in Common Law degree from University College Dublin (2019), and is pursuing an LL.M. in Business Law at Osgoode Hall Law School, York University. She was called to the Newfoundland and Labrador bar in 2022.
