Real Estate LawPeter Forestell, KC is a partner in Cox & Palmer's Saint John office, practising corporate and commercial law. He was called to the New Brunswick bar in 1977 after completing his education at the University of New Brunswick and St. Thomas University, and holds the King's Counsel designation. Peter has been retained by major Canadian and international corporations on matters before New Brunswick's municipal and provincial authorities, and by New Brunswick businesses on corporate reorganizations and share and asset purchases, as well as by utilities, financial institutions and public companies on real estate and corporate matters. He has lectured on commercial law at the Bar Admission Course for several years and chaired numerous continuing legal education programs, and is the immediate past chair of the Business Law Sub-Section for the Canadian Bar Association, New Brunswick. He has been listed in The Best Lawyers in Canada for corporate and real estate law since 2008 and was named Saint John Corporate Law Lawyer of the Year in 2017 and 2019.
