About Samara
Samara Belitzky is a partner at Emond Harnden who joined the firm in 2023 after seven years practising labour and employment law exclusively. She advises federally and provincially regulated employers on discipline, terminations, and the development of employment agreements and workplace policies, and represents employers in wrongful dismissal disputes and human rights proceedings. She has particular experience advising employers on workers' compensation matters. She graduated from both the civil law and common law programs at the University of Montreal. She was admitted to the Ontario bar in 2016 and the British Columbia bar in 2022. She is a member of the County of Carleton Law Association, the Canadian Association of Counsel to Employers, and the Ottawa Advocacy Club, and sits on the Board of Directors of the Ottawa Board of Trade.
