About Dawn

Dawn Michaeloff practices real estate law with an emphasis on acquisitions, dispositions and commercial leasing work. She handles matters across retail, office and industrial properties and has experience with specialized leases such as ground, hotel, cannabis and medical space. Her client base includes developers, landlords, tenants, property managers and brokers, ranging from private entrepreneurs to institutional owners and national retailers. She is named in the Lexpert Property Leasing Field guide and in The Best Lawyers in Canada listing for real estate and commercial leasing work. Dawn also has in-house experience with two major Canadian landlords and wrote a 2009 guide on insurance and risk management in commercial leasing, which Thomson Reuters continues to publish. She completed her LL.B. at Osgoode Hall Law School in 1985 and her B.A. at the University of Regina in 1981.
