About Arthur
Arthur L. Shapero practices in real property law, with particular emphasis on single and multiple family and condominium developments, acting for developers, builders and institutional lenders. He earned a B.A. from York University in 1972 and a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Toronto in 1976. After his call to the bar in 1977, he began practicing with Murray H. Chusid, later Macaulay Chusid, becoming a partner in 1979; the firm merged into Blaney McMurtry in 1995, and Arthur stayed there until joining Owens Wright in April 2000. He handles the acquisition of development lands, including negotiating agreements of purchase and sale and servicing and cost-sharing agreements. He belongs to the Law Society of Ontario, the Ontario Bar Association and the Canadian Condominium Institute.
