N. Peter Silverberg was called to the Ontario bar in 1979 and has since served a wide range of clients, including individuals, corporations and not-for-profit organizations. That practice centres on real estate, corporate/commercial matters and wills and estates. Peter regularly acts for commercial real estate lenders and mid-market businesses on mergers and acquisitions, shareholder and partnership agreements, business reorganizations, and debt and equity financing. Over the years, board service has included a publicly traded corporation and a not-for-profit organization serving at-risk youth and their families, along with lectures on directors' and officers' liability and teaching several law courses, including real estate law. Peter earned an LL.B. from the University of Western Ontario in 1977 and a B.Comm. from the University of Toronto in 1974, and is a member of the Ontario Bar Association.
