David Wingfield practises from the firm's Toronto office, where he applies his background in competition law enforcement to claimant-side disputes. He is a former head of a G-7 country's competition law litigation department and now pursues damages and restitution claims for parties harmed by anticompetitive practices, including cases before the UK Competition Appeal Tribunal. He has appeared in the Supreme Court of Canada and the Court of Appeal for England and Wales, acting for clients that have included two Prime Ministers, federal and provincial governments, large commercial enterprises, and hedge funds. He is a Barrister of Middle Temple, a member of the Bar of England and Wales, and an Attorney of New York State, and he serves as a Non-Governmental Advisor to the International Competition Network. He holds an LL.B. from Queen's University, an M.A. from the University of Toronto, and a B.A. (Hons.) from University College at the University of Toronto.
