Jay Strosberg is the managing partner at Strosberg Wingfield Sasso LLP in Windsor, Ontario, where he practises civil litigation, class actions, and competition law. He has recovered more than $1 billion for class action clients, including negotiating the $500 million Loblaws bread price-fixing settlement, the largest price-fixing settlement in Canadian history. He was counsel in the Lundin Mining securities class action and successfully argued a Supreme Court of Canada appeal on material change that affects Canadian disclosure requirements.
