About Jay

Jay Strosberg is the managing partner at Strosberg Wingfield Sasso LLP in Windsor, Ontario, where he practises civil litigation, class actions, and competition law. He has recovered more than $1 billion for class action clients, including negotiating the $500 million Loblaws bread price-fixing settlement, the largest price-fixing settlement in Canadian history. He was counsel in the Lundin Mining securities class action and successfully argued a Supreme Court of Canada appeal on material change that affects Canadian disclosure requirements. Lexpert has named him one of Canada's Rising Stars, Top 40 Lawyers Under 40, and a leading cross-border class action lawyer, and he received the King Charles III Coronation Medal. He earned his LL.B. from the University of Windsor in 2001 and his B.A. from Huron University College in 1998.
