About Rodney

Rod Godard has practised as a civil litigator since 1978, resolving disputes through negotiation or, where necessary, litigation, with extensive trial and appeal experience before the Superior Court of Justice and the Court of Appeal for Ontario. His expertise includes commercial and shareholder disputes, construction and building disputes, insolvency issues, insurance claims, and employment-related matters, and he has appeared in numerous reported decisions available through CanLII. He is a trained mediator and has been a regular presenter on advocacy and litigation skills and a sessional lecturer in civil procedure and civil trial advocacy at the University of Windsor's Faculty of Law.
