About Harvey

Harvey T. Strosberg KC is a Windsor-based class action lawyer regarded as a pioneer in the field, having appeared as counsel on more than 40 class action certification motions and recovered over $1.5 billion for clients. He was called to the Ontario bar in 1971 and appointed Queen's Counsel (now King's Counsel) in 1982. From 1997 to 1999 he served as the 55th Treasurer (President) of the Law Society of Ontario, and he has been a Bencher since 1987. He is the editor of the Canadian Class Action Review and a Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers. He has received the Law Society Medal and honorary doctorates from the Law Society of Upper Canada, Assumption University, and the University of Windsor. He earned his B.Sc. from the University of Windsor and his LL.B. from Osgoode Hall Law School.
