About David

David O'Brien, KC, is a partner in Cox & Palmer's Saint John office. He was called to the New Brunswick bar in 1984 after studying at Dalhousie University, and was appointed Queen's Counsel (now King's Counsel) in 2010. David represents insurers in the courts of New Brunswick and has prosecuted professional misconduct cases for the medical, architects', and opticians' professional associations in the province. He is a recipient of the Canadian Bar Association New Brunswick Branch's Distinguished Service Award for his work in law reform, and has presented at continuing legal education seminars for lawyers and insurance companies.
