About Laurent
Laurent Cousineau is an Ottawa-native, fully bilingual lawyer who was called to the bar in Ontario in 2025 and maintains a general litigation practice focused on public and administrative law, estates litigation, medical malpractice, and defamation. He worked as a summer student at David | Sauvé LLP in 2023 and as an articling student in 2024. Before law, he worked in Canadian politics, including on Parliament Hill, and represented Canada at the Parlement Francophone des Jeunes in Albania. He specialized in public and administrative law during his studies and helped his faculty win the best faculty award at the Laskin Moot Court Competition.
