About Daniel
Daniel Garas is a childhood leukemia survivor, an experience that sparked his passion for helping people facing life-altering conditions and drew him to personal injury law at Thomson Rogers. He joined the firm as an articling student after completing his law degree at the University of Toronto. Before law school, he earned a Bachelor of Kinesiology from McMaster University, graduating with top honours, and worked there as a physiotherapist assistant at a busy clinic, gaining experience with the treatment and recovery of various injuries. During law school, Daniel volunteered with Pro Bono Students Canada's Family Reunification Project, which helped refugee claimants sponsor family members. Outside of work, he is a devoted Raptors fan who enjoys singing and spending time with his wife and young sons.
