About Julia

Julia Lefebvre's advocacy practice spans health law, administrative law and defamation-related civil litigation. She appears regularly before courts, boards and tribunals at every level and also advises clients on strategy before litigation begins. Julia is a Lexpert ranked lawyer in media and defamation law. Before turning to law, she worked for the federal government and the Canadian Studies Centre at the University of Barcelona, and coordinated public awareness campaigns for a charity. In law school she won course awards in Public Law and in Sentencing and Imprisonment, and volunteered at a community legal clinic. She holds a BA from McGill University and a JD from Queen's University, and is fluent in French. She was called to the Ontario bar in 2011.
