About Dan
Dan McKay is a business-focused lawyer at Caravel Law with deep experience in intellectual property and technology development. He works mainly with multinationals and SMEs in life sciences, pharmaceuticals, and medical devices, covering the full arc from discovery and clinical development through to sales, marketing, and reimbursement. He has reviewed and negotiated licensing agreements for brand-name and generic companies, research deals between CROs and health institutions, supply contracts among distributors and hospitals, and manufacturing agreements sourcing product from Europe, India, and China. His clients have included major pharmaceutical companies as well as hospitals such as Sick Kids and Sunnybrook.
