About John
John Farquhar focuses on corporate and international tax planning and frequently assists clients in tax dispute matters. He holds dual qualifications as a lawyer and CPA in Alberta and previously worked as a tax practitioner in Australia. He graduated with honours from the University of Melbourne with a combined degree in Law and Commerce and now teaches tax law at the University of Calgary. Before joining Felesky Flynn, he practised international tax at a Big Four accounting firm. He was called to the Victorian Bar in Australia in 2012 and the Alberta Bar in 2019.
