About Christopher

Christopher Dias is an associate at Sutherland Law with a broad civil litigation practice, including commercial disputes, insurance matters, and shareholder conflicts. Having worked on both plaintiff and defence-side files, he brings a thorough, methodical approach to each case. He was called to the Ontario bar in 2021 and previously practiced at two well-known Toronto litigation firms, appearing before the Superior Court of Justice, Small Claims Court, and Ontario Court of Justice. Christopher earned his law degree from Osgoode Hall Law School, where he received the Dean's Gold Key Award and the Wendy Babcock Scholarship, after completing an honours BA in Legal Studies at Carleton University. He has stayed involved with student mentorship, including coordinating Osgoode's Pro Bono Students Canada chapter and serving on the board of the Community & Legal Aid Services Programme.
