About Hussam

Hussam Kuroukchi earned his Juris Doctor from Osgoode Hall Law School, where he worked as a student caseworker in the Venture Capital Clinical Program, providing legal support to early-stage technology companies on corporate and commercial matters. He also competed in advocacy, negotiation and arbitration competitions, reaching the semi-finals in several moots. Before law school, he completed a Bachelor of Applied Science in electrical engineering and a Bachelor of Arts in economics at the University of Waterloo, then worked in Toronto as a finance professional focused on capital markets and risk management. He articled with a regional firm in Guelph, gaining experience in civil litigation, land use planning and municipal law. His practice areas now include business tax and corporate law, civil litigation, construction, expropriation, and labour and employment law.
