About Chris

Chris Mallard is an associate at MacGillivray Law in St. John's. He earned his J.D. with a Certificate of Business Law from the Dalhousie University Schulich School of Law in 2021, following a B.Comm. (Co-op) and a B.A. from Memorial University in 2018. He was called to the Nova Scotia bar in 2022 and the Newfoundland and Labrador bar in 2023. He has appeared before the Supreme Court of Newfoundland and Labrador and has a track record of resolving matters through negotiation and mediation. He belongs to the Canadian Bar Association and the Atlantic Provinces Trial Lawyers Association, and in his spare time he exercises, plays hockey, and spends time with family and friends.
