About Ali
Ali Imran Raja is a partner at MacGillivray Law in Halifax. He practiced law for ten years in Pakistan, prosecuting and defending criminal cases and handling constitutional matters, before joining MacGillivray Law as a research analyst and later being called to the Nova Scotia bar. He has represented clients before the Supreme Court of Nova Scotia and the federal Canada Pension Plan Disability Tribunal. He holds an LL.B. from Peshawar University School of Law and a B.Comm from the University of Peshawar. He was called to the bar in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in 1998 and in Nova Scotia in 2010, and he is a member of the Atlantic Provinces Trial Lawyers Association and the Ontario Trial Lawyers Association.
