About Catherine
Catherine Howden focuses on commercial litigation involving secured and unsecured collections, insolvency and restructuring matters, and mortgage foreclosures. Catherine regularly conducts civil and commercial litigation before the Court of Queen's Bench and Court of Appeal, and has been recognized by the Canadian Legal Lexpert Directory as a leading practitioner in Insolvency and Financial Restructuring. Catherine was called to the Manitoba Bar in 1992 after earning an LL.B. from Osgoode Hall Law School at York University in 1991. Catherine has served on the Law Society of Manitoba's CPLED program faculty and chaired the Manitoba Bar Association's Insolvency Section from 2015 to 2017.
