About Kalev

Kalev is a commercial litigator focused on contentious insolvency matters, acting for financial institutions and private lenders in bankruptcy, arrangement and reorganization proceedings. He has extensive experience with creditor and debtor disputes, debt enforcement and foreclosure, and acts for trustees, investors and commercial landlords. He has appeared before trial and appellate courts in Manitoba, British Columbia and Ontario, and before the Tax Court of Canada. Kalev returned to Manitoba in 2020 after practising with insolvency and litigation boutique firms in Vancouver and Toronto, and he is admitted to the bar in Manitoba, Ontario and British Columbia.
