About Margaretha

Margaretha (Maggie) Spezzano is a litigation associate at TDS focused primarily on civil litigation, including construction litigation, builders' liens, negligence, contract claims and collection claims. She also practices municipal law, frequently handling by-law enforcement matters and municipal governance issues. Maggie began her legal career in 2018 practicing civil litigation in North Dakota and Minnesota with a focus on insurance defence litigation, and completed her articles with TDS in November 2022 before joining as an associate. She regularly appears before the Manitoba Court of King's Bench and serves as Honorary Solicitor for Family Dynamics. She holds a Juris Doctor, Cum Laude, from the University of North Dakota School of Law (2018) and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Manitoba (2015), and was called to the bar in Manitoba in 2022, North Dakota in 2018, and Minnesota in 2019.
