About Ross

Ross McFadyen is a partner at TDS who practises civil litigation, with an emphasis on insolvency and restructuring and commercial disputes. He advises clients on proposal proceedings under the Bankruptcy and Insolvency Act, proceedings under the Companies' Creditors Arrangement Act, and receivership matters, and has also acted in debt collection, shareholder rights, insurance, and construction disputes. He has appeared before courts in Manitoba, Ontario, Saskatchewan, Alberta, and British Columbia, as well as before various administrative tribunals. Ross articled with TDS starting in 2000, was called to the Manitoba bar in 2001, and was admitted to partnership in 2009. He has been recognized in Best Lawyers in Canada for Insolvency and Financial Restructuring Law and in Chambers Canada for commercial litigation, and outside the office he competes in curling, having represented Canada at the 2006 Kariuzawa International Curling Championship in Japan.
