About Catherine

Fox practises family law and wills and estates, having been called to the Alberta Bar in 1989 after articling with the City of Calgary Law Department. She was appointed King's Counsel in March 2020. Her family law practice covers divorce, parenting arrangements, child and spousal support, property division, separation agreements, and adoption, including private guardianship matters, and she represents children in family proceedings. She is a trained mediator and Collaborative Law lawyer, continues to accept Legal Aid referrals for matters involving children, and has volunteered with the Calgary Women's Emergency Shelter, Student Legal Assistance, Calgary Legal Guidance, and the Legal Education Society of Alberta.
