About Cassandra
Cassandra da Costa's practice covers collective bargaining, labour disputes, grievance arbitrations, human rights, wrongful dismissal defence, employment standards, contracts and workplace policies for public and private sector employers of all sizes. Before being called to the Ontario bar, she represented a major US city in collective bargaining, labour disputes and employment and human rights matters, giving her insight into the political and socio-economic pressures facing municipalities, police services and utilities. She also worked at a management-side labour and employment boutique in London prior to joining the firm. Da Costa is admitted to practice in Ontario, Missouri and Washington State, which positions her to help American employers navigate Canadian labour law, and she holds her JD and BA from Boston College.
