About Cary

Cary Wessel is a partner at Gerrand Rath Johnson LLP in the firm's business law group, advising on corporate matters, purchases and sales of businesses, residential and commercial real estate, secured finance, corporate restructuring, and private equity, as well as related litigation. Cary has acted for construction companies, banks, and medium and small businesses since joining the firm in 2015, previously serving as general counsel at a large construction and property management company and at a national law firm. Cary is a past President of the Regina Bar Association and a member of the Canadian Bar Association and the Law Society of Saskatchewan. Cary earned a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of Regina in 2001 and a Juris Doctor from the University of Saskatchewan in 2007.
