About Jared

Jared Brown is an associate at McKercher LLP's Saskatoon office specializing in Indigenous legal matters. A member of Mistawasis Néhiyawak First Nation, his practice covers corporate and commercial law, real estate, and First Nations governance issues. He was involved with Indigenous student organizations during university and worked at other Saskatchewan firms before joining McKercher in 2022. Jared earned a Bachelor of Arts honours in Sociology from the University of Saskatchewan in 2015 and a Juris Doctor in 2016, and was called to the Saskatchewan bar in 2017.
