About Barton

Barton (Bart) Soroka is an associate at Gerrand Rath Johnson LLP practising family law and divorce, municipal law, and wills, estates and personal planning. Born in northern Saskatchewan and a Regina resident since childhood, he returned to Regina in 2017 to article and practise before joining the firm in March 2020. Bart has appeared before the Provincial Court and Court of Queen's Bench as well as various administrative panels. He serves as the Sexual Orientation and Gender Identity Community Chair for the Saskatchewan Branch of the Canadian Bar Association and as a Director of the Regina Bar Association. Bart earned a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Business Administration from Campion College at the University of Regina and a Juris Doctor from the Schulich School of Law at Dalhousie University in Halifax.
