About Caroline
Caroline Ward earned her law degrees through the Dual JD program offered jointly by Windsor Law and Detroit Mercy Law. Before law school she completed a Bachelor of Social Sciences in Criminology at the University of Ottawa, where she became interested in social justice and advocacy, an interest she pursued further through work in the homeless shelter systems of Ottawa and Fredericton. During law school, Caroline competed in several mooting competitions in the United States and Canada, including the Herbert Wechsler National Criminal Law Moot, a constitutional law moot honouring Leroy R. Hassell Sr., and the Ontario Trial Lawyers Association Moot. She also volunteered with Pro Bono Students Canada and the If/When/How Club on identification access and reproductive justice initiatives. Fluent in both French and English, Caroline is committed to serving clients navigating the criminal justice system.
