About Bukola

Bukola Adelusi practices banking and financial services law, advising private equity sponsors, financial institutions and public and private companies on both domestic and cross-border transactions. Her work spans acquisition finance and fund-related deals, real estate financing, construction lending, and various secured lending arrangements, including first and second lien and subordinated debt transactions, and she regularly acts for both borrowers and lenders in negotiating credit facilities. Before joining McMillan, she articled and practised at another national Canadian firm, and earlier gained experience at a leading Nigerian firm working on debt financing, M&A transactions and private equity deals. She holds an LLB from the University of Ibadan and an LLM from Western University, was called to the Nigerian bar in 2016 and to the Ontario bar in 2022, and speaks English.
