About Clémence
Clémence Thabet became an associate at Cavalluzzo in 2024, having previously articled and worked as a summer student at the firm. Their practice spans labour and employment law, including litigation, as well as human rights, Aboriginal law, and Indigenous rights matters, and they work with clients in both French and English. Clémence earned a Juris Doctor at the University of Ottawa in 2023, along with a BSocSc in Political Science from the same university, and spent time during law school with community and equality-focused organizations such as LEAF and the Equality Law Clinic. Their scholarly work also draws on queer theory to examine how queer and trans knowledge intersects with legal studies.
