About Bruce

Bruce W. Johnston is a lawyer and partner at Trudel Johnston & Lespérance (TJL). Johnston represented citizens of Sutton pro bono in a municipal law appeal to protect the local mountain and environment, assisted Dr. Morgentaler in 2002 in a case that led to abortion being covered in private clinics in Quebec, and won retirement benefits for former IBM employees in Bromont. Johnston holds a degree in history and has cross-examined expert witnesses for tobacco companies in litigation. Johnston takes on causes across many areas of law and is known within the firm for working well under pressure.
