Karey Brooks, KC is a partner at JFK Law's Vancouver office and one of the firm's original members from 2009. Her practice covers Aboriginal rights and title, Crown consultation, regulatory matters, and general governance issues, and she has represented clients including Beaver Lake Cree Nation, Kwikwetlem First Nation, and Mikisew Cree Nation. She currently leads a class action against WestJet Airlines concerning its anti-harassment program and has served as Associate Commission Counsel for the BC Missing Women's Commission of Inquiry. Karey holds two Master of Laws degrees from Osgoode Hall Law School and an LL.B. and B.A. from the University of British Columbia. She was appointed King's Counsel in 2021 and has been recognized annually as a Leading Lawyer in Aboriginal Law by the Canadian Legal Lexpert Directory since 2017.
