About Brookelyn

Brookelyn Kirkham is a partner at Polley Faith who acts for institutional clients and individuals in professional liability, corporate-commercial, and civil disputes, appearing at all levels of court in Ontario as well as in arbitrations and tribunal proceedings. She regularly handles health litigation on behalf of healthcare professionals and organizations in civil, regulatory, and criminal matters, and served as counsel to a party before the Long-Term Care Covid-19 Commission. Her practice also extends to contract interpretation, shareholder disputes, public inquiries, criminal investigations, class actions, professional discipline, and regulatory prosecutions, along with managing legal risk for clients facing public scrutiny. Before joining the firm she clerked at the Federal Court of Appeal for Justice David G. Near, focusing on administrative and regulatory law, and articled at the Crown Law Office-Civil. Brookelyn earned her JD from the University of Ottawa in 2015 and was called to the bar in 2016.
