Michael Finley is a partner in the firm's Toronto office practising in environmental, municipal, administrative, and civil litigation. He has particular expertise in regulatory defence, advising clients through inspections, investigations, and prosecutions under provincial and federal environmental legislation. He has appeared before the Ontario Court of Justice, Superior Court, Court of Appeal, and the Ontario Land Tribunal. He served as commission counsel for the Long Term Care COVID-19 Commission and as counsel for the City of Windsor before the Public Order Emergency Commission.
