About Brian
Brian Studniberg holds a partnership at Henein Hutchison Robitaille LLP, focusing his practice on civil and appellate litigation. He works extensively in commercial controversy and tax disputes and is called to the bars of both Ontario and Massachusetts. Brian holds a combined J.D./M.B.A. from the University of Toronto, where he received the Gerald W. Schwartz Bronze Medal, and an LL.M. from Harvard Law School. Before joining the firm he practised at a major U.S. firm in Boston and, earlier, at a litigation boutique tied to one of the Big Four in Toronto. Over more than a decade he has acted in complex commercial and tax matters, including director's liability cases, shareholder disputes, and fights over registered charity status. He has written extensively on tax and constitutional topics, co-authored a monograph on Canadian tax administration, and was recognized in the 2024 Best Lawyers rankings for Tax Law.
