About Brian

Brian Levett is a senior corporate, commercial, and securities lawyer with more than 30 years of experience advising businesses in mining, construction, energy, food services, outsourcing, technology, and manufacturing. Before joining Caravel Law, he worked at Minden Gross LLP, Norton Rose Fulbright Canada LLP, and Miller Thomson LLP. At Caravel, his work includes mergers and acquisitions, reorganizations and restructuring, debt and equity financings, and governance matters. He has advised on large construction projects in downtown Toronto and Kitchener, the takeover of a TSXV-listed mining company, and the reorganization of a commercial property tax consulting firm, and has counselled the controlling shareholder of a TSX-listed food services franchise business. Brian earned his LL.B. from Queen's University in 1981, after completing a B.Ed. and BA at the University of Western Ontario.
