About Ilya

Ilya Kirtsman is a partner whose practice centres on civil litigation. He represents individuals and corporations in civil cases and commercial disputes, particularly those involving employment, disability, and personal injury claims, and has taken a number of matters through to judgment. Kirtsman has appeared before the Superior Court of Justice, the Divisional Court, the Workplace Safety and Insurance Appeals Tribunal, the Financial Services Commission of Ontario, the License Appeal Tribunal, the Health Professions Appeal and Review Board, and the Social Security Tribunal of Canada. He earned his BCL and LL.B. from McGill University's Faculty of Law, where he received the I. Ballon Memorial Medal, and he was subsequently admitted to the Ontario Bar. Kirtsman is able to serve clients in French and Russian.
